Moving in 12 days!!

We just accepted an offer on our house yesterday, and we are closing on Nov. 10th! Holy cow, we only have 12 days to get outta here! We leave for Hawaii the same day as closing, it's going to be busy!!! Thanks to Dean and Donna, we won't be homeless! Wish us luck that we will get the house that we want!

Fox and a half

Janet: Are you trying to tell me that I'm overweight?
JT: No, not at all. What I meant is that you are 50% more foxy than all of the other foxes out there.

Janni's back!

Yay!!! I can fit in my favorite jeans again! I think i will celebrate and go to Cafe Rio! :) nuf said.

Green is soooo the new black...

So, this morning i was getting ready for work and was putting on my fave jeans, and what do you know----they will not button, let alone zip up! yuck! And all of my jeans are waaay too tight in the booty. Guess I need to start working out more! Instead, I decided to go shopping. Check it out. I got a pair of jeans on clearance at GAP for $9.97, and a green long sleeve shirt for $9.97(you know, green is the new black, and kelly green is sooo totally my fave color right now, sorry brown). Plus, I had a $5 off coupon. And then, i found the cutest clothes for Landon, clearanced at $2.99 each!!! I'm lovin' it! And, I got JT something for his birthday that was on sale, too. I just won't tell you how much I spent on another pair of jeans I found at Macy's... At least I won't look as frumpy tomorrow as I did today.

McKenna Can 5K Fundraiser

My sister, Julie, is totally awesome. She is a giver. She organized a huge 5k as a fundraiser for McKenna Davies, our sweet 12 year old neighbor who is fighting leukemia, again...

We had a blast, there were so many supporters there, over 350 people in the race, and overall over $8,000 has been donated to the Davies family to help pay medical bills.

Darla, Beth and I ran together (kinda...) and loved the race. We had home court advantage, you know...

Britta is here!

Britta is here for a few days to take a class for her esthetician (sp?) stuff. So.... lucky me, I got a facial! It was soooooo nice.

It was a pumpkin chocolate-chip facial, as I call it. I had some pumpkin stuff on my face for this pic and then she put a chocolate mask on. It was the perfect way to relax right before my mid shift.
